Boom! Side view. As you can see, it is pretty large. Very detailed. Lots of bits...Nah, I had fun painting it. Unlike a lot of people, I actually enjoy the painting process--making little color decisions, deciding what goes where, seeing it all go from my brain on to the actual model...Love it. I painted it the Menoth colors, which was what Dave had requested, and tried to stick as close to it as I could. A few little changes, but overall, I think I did pretty well. I'm not going to go in to too much detail on the colors--there was A LOT of color mixing. This took me several weeks to get completed, especially with lots of working and getting back to school and our Warmachine/Hordes league starting up again. But I finally got it done!
Just look at this guy! I mean, c'mon, he totally looks like he would run you down without even a second glance.
Anyway, I'm happy with the results and I hope Dave is, too. It was a fun model--and I don't plan on painting something that big again for a long time. ^^ Anyway, that's that! I've gotten a good bit of work done today, so onwards!
